| Radersburg Pass Loop |

The Radersburg Pass Loop is a Class 2 scenic route which can be linked to both the McCarty Creek Trail and/or the Skyline Mine Trail. (both trails are discribed on this site)
Our trail starts from the Lower Valley Road. It can be accessed a number of ways but for our purposes we will start 6.1 miles south of Boulder, at the White Bridge Road turn off from Hwy 69. For a Google Pin to this intersection: **CLICK HERE**
This turn has signage showing it is the turn to Elkhorn Ghost Town & State Park. Cross White Bridge and the Boulder River. At the intersection, bare to the right. This is Lower Valley Road. 2.8 miles after the turn onto Lower Valley Road, you will hit a fork of Dry Creek Road (FS 517) and Elkhorn Road (FS 258). The is a nice FS sign there showing you the way. In this case, we are heading up Dry Creek Road.

This leg of the trail is pretty easy to follow. Just stay on the main (Dry Creek / FS 517) road. The Mud Springs turn to the left is about10.8 miles (from the Dy Creek/Elkhorn fork), It is, more or less, a 4 way intersection. The left turn goes into the trees for a short distance and then out into an open meadow again. For a Google Maps pin of this intersection: **CLINK HERE**

| The turn toward Radersburg Pass from Dry Creek Road |

Just follow this road for another 1.6 miles to Radersburg Pass. The signage will be to your right as you enter the hilltop meadow area. The old, orignial Radersburg Pass Road is not closed to motorized due to an old road callapse but you can go to the top where the signage is.

Once you have your required photos with the Radersburg Pass sign, go back to the road you just came from and turn right (souith westerly) onto Trail 154, heading toward Lupien Spring. this is another section where is it really hard to get lost. Just follow the road.

On some maps, this is Tramway Road and is FS Trail 154. In about 6.5 miles, this trail wil come to an intersection with the Queen Gulch Road. Queen Gulch is the road heaqding to the Skyline Mine. At this intersection, if you bare right (which is almost strait off this fork), you are heading toward Skyline. If you turn left, you are heading toward the Elkhorn Road and back home. The Elkhorn Road is 2.3 miles. When you hit the Elkhonr Road, you can turn right to go the Elkhorn or left to head back home. Another 6.6 miles and you will be back that the Elkhorn/Dry Creek fork again. Bare right and head home, whereever that is. (Note: The McCarty Creek Trail is very close to where Queen Gulch Road meets with Elkhorn Road. See out trail discription for McCarty Creek for details)
