Rides for Soft-Roaders and High Clearance 2WD Vehicles |
These are off-pavement (dirt road) destinations suitable for passinger vehicles, crossovers and SUVs with limited ground clearance (aka Soft-Roaders). Of course, that means the true off-road ready vehicles this site generally caters to can also make it.
Trips/Trails marked as a Class 1 Trail are on well maintained gravel and dirt roads that are generally traversable by passinger vehicles (cars) with little or no difficulty.
Trips/Trails marked as a Class 1+ Trail are on dirt roads that are not as well maintained and may be rocky, bumpy, have small ruts, pot holes/puddles and tennis ball sized rocks that are easily traversable by crossovers, SUV and larger vehicles. Carefully driven cars "should" be able to make these trips except for very low-cleanrace & sports-car type vehicles. Such very low clearance vehicles should take these trails with caution, if at all.
